SOMERVILLE -- A 21-year-old Manville man was sentenced Monday to five years in prison for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
Adam S. Labracio, 21, pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child in the 2015 incident and was sentenced by Somerset County Superior Court Judge Robert B. Reed under a plea agreement. He must also register under Megan's Law and will be on parole supervision for life.
A tearful Labracio, supported by several family members in the courtroom, apologized to the victim and her family.
On March 24, 2015, police arrested Labracio at his home, it was previously reported. Labracio, who was out on bail, was immediately handcuffed and taken into custody.
