Cabezas was charged with two counts of second degree death by auto, three counts of fourth degree assault by auto, reckless driving and driving under the influence. Cabezas, who was not injured in the crash, is being held on $250,000 bail in the Somerset County Jail.

The grandparents have been identified as Frank Corso, 79, and his wife, Audrey Corso, 75, both of Flemington. Their son, Gregory Corso, 43, of Budd Lake, was taken by ambulance to Morristown Medical Center with minor injuries, according to the prosecutor's office.

His son, Matthew Corso, 5, was seated in a rear booster seat and was taken to Morristown Medical Center and subsequently released.

His sister, Marissa Corso, 10, was flown by North Star to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick with a possible broken femur, the prosecutor's office confirmed.

"This is a terrible tragedy that changed the lives of this family in a split second as they returned home from an Easter egg hunt," Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III stated in a news release. "We offer our sincerest condolences to the Corso family."

The accident happened on a curve near the intersection with Barley Sheaf Road, south of Woodschurch Road.

The crash was investigated by the Readington Township Police Department, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office, and the Somerset County County Prosecutor's Office Fatal Crash Team. The Whitehouse Rescue Squad and the Three Bridges Fire Company responded.
