After nearly six months as a fugitive, Isidore Heath Campbell was located in Shippensburg, Pa., and arrested.
FLEMINGTON -- Isidore Heath Campbell, who has been charged with aggravated assault, was in state Superior Court in Hunterdon County on Monday asking that he be released or that his bail be reduced.
Judge Angela Borkowski denied his request, agreeing with the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office that Campbell is an "extreme high flight risk."
Campbell fled after Holland Township police issued a warrant for his arrest in late October 2015. After nearly six months as a fugitive, he was located in Shippensburg, Pa., and arrested.
Prosecutors allege that during those six months Campbell was in contact with Holland Township police and refused to turn himself in.

The assault charge stems from an incident involving his girlfriend, Bethanie Zito, who has since recanted her accusation that Campbell struck her. Prosecutors said they are proceeding without her cooperation in an evidence-based case against Campbell.
Bail remains at $10,000, cash only, and Cambpell continues to be lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
Campbell is the father of at least nine children, none of whom he has custody of.
He drew national media attention in December 2008 when he tried to have a cake inscribed with "Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler" for his then 3-year-old son, whom he named Adolf Hitler Campbell. The store refused.
