A Stone Manor Drive home was damaged on Monday, March 29, 2016, when a woman from Orange drove into it.
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP - A Stone Manor Drive home was damaged Monday when a car leaving a residence across the street slammed into it, police reported Tuesday.
The driver, Kimberlie Bullock, 35, Orange, was leaving a Longwood Drive residence shortly before 6:24 p.m. when her foot got stuck on the gas pedal of her 1999 Nissan Maxima, police reported.
The Maxima jumped a curb and struck the side of a home on Stone Manor Drive. The home was occupied at the time of the crash, but neither Bullock nor the occupants were injured, police said.
Bullock, who was issued a motor-vehicle summons for careless driving, was able to drive the Maxima from the scene as it only had minor damage, police reported.
The residents were able to remain in their home after township construction officials also said damage to the home was not severe enough to make it structurally unsound.
