Somerset County launched a redesigned web site in March of 2016.
Somerset County rolled out a new website recently.
"The website has been completely redesigned and reorganized, making it more user friendly," Freeholder Director Patricia Walsh said in a news release. "You'll notice a more streamlined homepage with easy access to information that the public requests most frequently.
"Also, the website is designed to display on mobile phones and tablets as well as desktop computers."
After a competitive proposal review process, the county hired Vision Internet of Santa Monica, Calif., to revamp the site. An in-house website project team guided the redesign and personnel from each county department and division contributed to their respective pages, according to a news release.
Somerset County launched its first website in November 1997 and has done several in-house upgrades over the years.
