Centenarians were paired with Princeton University students as their escorts for an evening of dinner, music and dancing

SOUTH BRUNSWICK - The first annual Centenarian Senior Prom was held Thursday at Brandywine Senior Living at Princeton to celebrate the most senior residents from the company's communities throughout the state.

Centenarians were paired with Princeton University students as their escorts for an evening of dinner, music and dancing to the theme of "Puttin' on the Ritz." Nine centenarians attended along with 15 "junior residents" under the age of 100.

Martha Munster and Phil Yanich, both 103, were named the prom's king and queen. Munster resides in the Brandywine at Princeton community and Yanich lives in Brandywine's Middlebrook Crossing community in Somerset County.
