Bridgewater Raritan's 2015 Marching Band season is dedicated to fellow band member and friend, Amanda Long.
The Bridgewater-Raritan High School Marching Band, directed by J.P. Crowley, took First Place for the fifth year in a row in the Group VI Open category at the N.J. State Yamaha Cup at MetLife Stadium, their first competition of the season.
The band began practicing for the season this past April, and spent several days a week throughout the entire summer working on their performance. Their hard work and dedication was evident during the entire competition.
This year's show, titled "My Broken Heart," captured the hearts of the judges and spectators alike, with their incredible performance also earning them the Caption award for Best Color Guard, Best Percussion, Best Individual Music and Best Overall Effect.
