An accident is causing delays on eastbound Interstate 78 in Bedminster on Friday, May 20, 2016.
BEDMINSTER - An accident on eastbound Interstate 78 near exit 26 (Rattlesnake Bridge Road) is causing delays of over 5 miles on Friday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The accident, reportedly involving a tractor-trailer and a state Department of Transportation pickup truck, happened shortly after 7 a.m., blocking the left and center lanes. No injuries have been reported.
There are delays of up to 10 minutes in the area, with eastbound traffic slowing approaching the routes 31 and 22 interchanges in Clinton.
