According to information available from the Watchung Borough Historical Commission, Frank Castronovo opened the pharmacy on the Watchung Circle in 1939.
Today, the Castronova family operates the Edgewood Pharmacy in Warren, which opened in 1962; the site of the old Watchung Pharmacy is now occupied by professional offices.
