Suzan Radwan will be Hillsborough Township Public Schools' new director of special services.
HILLSBOROUGH - The township's Public Schools announced Suzan Radwan will be its new director of special services.
Radwan was unanimously approved by the Hillsborough Board of Education at its meeting Monday and will start with the district on July 1, according to a news release.
"We are pleased to welcome Suzan to Hillsborough," stated Jorden Schiff, superintendent of schools. "Her diverse background in the area of special services and willingness to work collaboratively with Hillsborough's administration, staff, parents and students will be an asset to our children and our schools."
Prior to joining the Hillsborough administration, Radwan worked as the director of special services for Hoboken Public Schools, a position she has held since 2014.

While in Hoboken, Radwan oversaw all facets of the school district's Department of Special Services, including increasing inclusive education, supervising child study teams, and ensuring compliance with New Jersey's special education administrative codes and statutes.
Radwan began her public school career in 2004 as a School Psychologist with Newark Public Schools where she worked with preschool through high school aged students. In 2010, she became Supervisor of the district's Office of Special Education. In 2013, Radwan was named Newark Public Schools' Executive Director of Operations for the Office of Special Education.
Radwan received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Rutgers University and a Master's Degree in School Psychology from Fordham University. She also earned her Principal and Supervisor Certificate and is currently working to complete her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at Rowan University in Glassboro.
