Local rap artist Nicco D will perform and lead an in-depth rap-driven discussion at the Bound Brook Memorial Library on July 23, 2016.
BOUND BROOK - Rap artist Nicco D will perform and lead an in-depth rap-driven discussion at the Bound Brook Memorial Library, 402 E. High St., on July 23 at 1 p.m.
Participants will learn about rhyming, freestyling, live performance etiquette, studio etiquette and more, according to a news release. Participating teens and adults will also have the opportunity to perform.
This program is hosted by the Bound Brook Arts District and the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey's borough branch.
"Our library is pleased to partner with BB Arts," said Cindy Mangel, branch manager. "The library is an essential feature of the the Bound Brook community. Through this program and future collaborations, the residents of Bound Brook and surrounding communities will have great opportunities to enrich their lives and expand their knowledge of the arts."
BB Arts serves as a central body to promote, develop, stimulate and encourage arts, artists and art organizations, and successfully collaborate with arts districts in neighboring towns, according to the news release. The organization is lead by BB Arts District Coordinator Patty Howard.
