Annette Conturso, 28, pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery and two counts of third-degree possession of drugs - heroin and cocaine.

Conturso is facing five to 10 years in state prison when sentenced by Judge Robert B. Reed on Sept. 22.  She is currently out of jail on $75,000 bail.

On Dec. 10, 2014, Conturso walked into a Chase Bank branch on Route 206 and handed a teller a note saying she had a gun and wanted money, authorities have said.

Conturso, who once dated a Hllsborough police officer, escaped with an undisclosed amount of money. Police were able to quickly identify her through bank surveillance and her relationship with the police officer, who has not been identified, authorities have said.

Her attorney had previously contended the robbery was prompted by a drug relapse that followed her breakup with the police officer.
