The identification of the victim hasn't been released.
FRANKLIN -- Detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office and the Franklin Township Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred Monday morning, according to the prosecutor's office.
Capt. Jack Bennett, a spokesman for the prosecutor's office, said the homicide involved an adult male. Authorities didn't release the identification of the victim or the details surrounding his death.
No arrests have been made, said Bennett.
Police confirmed that there was an "incident" at Route 27 and Todd Circle in the township. They referred all other questions to the prosecutor's office.
