FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP -- Teddy is a 7-month-old pit bull terrier mix at the Franklin Township Animal Shelter.
Rescued as a stray, shelter employees say he can be timid at first, but warms up quickly and is eager for attention.
Teddy has lots of energy and is best suited to an active home without small children; he appears to be okay with other dogs.
Teddy has been neutered and is up-to-date on shots.
To meet Teddy and other adoptable pets, visit the shelter at 475 DeMott Lane in Somerset, Franklin Township. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 3 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. There are currently 30 pets ready to be adopted at the shelter.
