The event, which is being presented by RVCC and RavensWing Productions, will be held in the Nash Theatre at the college's Branchburg Campus.

The public is invited to attend the third annual "Honoring Our Warriors: A Veterans Day Tribute," Nov. 11, from 4-6 p.m., at Raritan Valley Community College.

The event, which is being presented by RVCC and RavensWing Productions, will be held in the Nash Theatre at the college's Branchburg Campus. There is no admission charge.

"Honoring Our Warriors: A Veterans Day Tribute" pays tribute to and welcomes home all of the men and women who have served this country. It is an opportunity to express gratitude for their service and to honor those we have lost. Through dance, music and song, the performers will pay homage to our veterans -- letting them know that the freedom they have provided us with is not being taken for granted.

The program, which will include participation of RVCC students who are veterans, will open with the presentation of the Eagle Staff and Colors. The RVCC Chorale, under the direction of Dr. John Sichel, RVCC Assistant Professor of Music, will perform the National Anthem as well as an Armed Forces Medley.

Following the opening ceremony, the RavensWing Native American Dancers, featuring world-renowned hoop dancer Amanda Ironstar and the Youngblood Singers, will honor our veterans through song and dance.

Special seating will be available for veterans, their families and friends. For additional information, email paintedfaces@raritanval.edu.
