SOMERVILLE - A borough man accused of sexually assaulting three women over a four-day period last September was indicted on six counts Thursday in Somerset County Superior Court.
Deshawn Swindell, 21, was indicted on first-degree aggravated sexual contact, first-degree armed robbery, second-degree sexual assault, three-degree aggravated sexual contact, third-degree possession of a weapon and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
The sexual assaults occurred between Sept. 14 and 17, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office said. Swindell is being held in Somerset County Jail on a $300,000 cash-only bail.
In one incident, the victim told police she was threatened with a weapon while an unknown male committed a sexual act against her, the prosecutor's office said.
Two days later, a second victim said an unknown male brandished a knife and sexually assaulted her. The following day, a third victim reported she was assaulted.
According to his Facebook Page, Swindell attended Franklin High School.
