"My Big Fat Greek Wedding" is back -- this time with John Stamos.
Yes, the trailer for "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2" is here (sans Stamos, though he is billed in the film).
The original movie, released in 2002, is the highest-grossing romantic comedy of all time, having commanded a total of $241,438,208. The sequel is due in March.
Nia Vardalos, the film's star and writer, returns for the sequel as Toula Portokalos, the onetime Greek-American bride, who, in the first movie, has to bridge the gap between her family and the non-Greek family she marries into, with hilarious results.
In the sequel, Elena Kampouris ("Men, Women & Children"), an 18-year-old actress from Bridgewater, plays Toula's daughter, Paris Miller. Kampouris previously appeared in the now-canceled NBC series "American Odyssey."

Also returning for the sequel is actor John Corbett, who plays Ian Miller, Toula's husband.
While the first movie revolved around Toula and Ian's wedding, the second centers on what happens after Toula's parents -- again played by Lainie Kazan and Michael Constantine -- realize a priest never signed their own wedding certificate. Toula and Ian are also now coping with the fact that their daughter is headed off to college. Paris, meanwhile, is coping with the habits of her "big fat Greek" family.

Another cast member is Rita Wilson -- she and her husband, Tom Hanks, were producers of the original film. The "Big Fat Greek" story was inspired by Vardalos' one-woman show, which Wilson first took note of in 1997.
In 2003, the successful movie generated a CBS sitcom called "My Big Fat Greek Life," but it only lasted for one season.
