(Somerset County Prosecutor's Office) Police have released still images of the suspect obtained from surveillance camera footage and are asking for the public's help in identifying him.
At approximately 8:39 p.m., township police received a 9-1-1 call reporting an armed robbery at the Krauszer's food store located on Stirling Road, the release stated.
Upon arrival, an employee told officers that a white male, roughly 50 years old wearing dark clothing and a white baseball cap, entered the store and immediately walked towards the employee with a handgun and demanded money, according to police.
The employee gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled from the store on foot, police said.
Detectives from the county's Major Crimes Unit and township police are investigating the incident, authorities stated in the release.
