CLINTON TWP. - The westbound Route 22 ramp to westbound Interstate 78 will be closed from 4 a.m. to noon on Thursday for an emergency repair, the state Department of Transportation announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The work is expected to be completed by the afternoon and will require a local detour.
Here are details about detours that will be in place for the morning commute:
Drivers on westbound Route 22 will be directed to bear right and take the Annandale exit onto Beaver Avenue (Route 626). They will continue on Beaver Avenue, making a left onto Old Highway 22 for Route 22/Interstate 78/Route 31 south before continuing on Old Highway 22 back onto westbound Route 22/Interstate 78.
Electronic message and lane closure signs will be in place, the DOT said.
