PHILADELPHIA — Day one of the 123rd Penn Relays Carnival is in the books, and NJ.com will be on hand here at Franklin Field all day Friday and until the final baton exchange Saturday night. 

The girls dominated the action yesterday and the boys hit the track on Friday, beginning at 9 a.m. Keep your eyes out Friday as some of the state's top athletes like Union Catholic Olympian Sydney McLaughlin, Rahway thrower Jordan West and several top relays take the track in Championship of America races.
