The president is expected to spend the weekend at his gold course in Bedminster
BEDMINSTER -- Residents in Central New Jersey have reported seeing military helicopters flying overhead as the preparations for President Donald Trump's arrival for a weekend at his Bedminister golf resort continue.
At least two Ospreys, tilt rotor aircraft that can liftoff like helicopters before transitioning to forward flight like a plane, and two military helicopters landed at Somerset Airport on Tuesday, according to News12 New Jersey.
The helicopters appeared similar to the aircraft used as Marine One when ferrying the president short distances.

Somerset Airport, which is about five miles from Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, will be shut down through the weekend due to flight restrictions by the Federal Aviation Administration.
The FAA issued an updated Temporary Flight Restriction for Thursday through Sunday, classifying the area over Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster as "national defense airspace."

There will be a 30-mile temporary flight restriction in the Morristown and Bedminster airspace from Friday to Sunday.
In addition to Somerset Airport, the 10-mile radius where no aircraft can fly will shut down Solberg Airport in Readington Township.
The president has not been to Trump National since taking office in January, instead preferring to spend seven weekends at Mar-a-Lago, his estate in Palm Beach, Fla.
