The school held its 60th commencement on Thursday morning at Howard A. Tozier Stadium.
WARREN - Watchung Hills Regional High School senior class president Jordon Reynolds asked each graduate to look at the person next to them.
"Think about how far away this day seemed four years ago," he said on Thursday morning at the 60th commencement at Watchung Hills Regional Hills High School at Howard A. Tozier Stadium. "Cherish each moment as we sit together for the final time.
"Today, we're all the same. The same graduating class. The same diplomas. We're all Warriors (the school's nickname) filled with hope."
Reynolds was one of 542 graduates in the Watchung Hills Regional High School Class of 2017.
"We're all like oysters," said Salutatorian Michelle Shui. "When it is finally opened, hopefully a beautiful pearl is born. Today is the first day of the rest of our lives."
