OLD BRIDGE -- Township police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 82-year-old man.

(Provided by Old Bridge Township Police Department) Frederick Hettinger, of South Old Bridge, left his home off Englishtown Road at about 6 p.m. Monday to go shopping in the area near the Home Depot and Gateway Shopping Center on Route 9, police said. He has not been seen since, authorities said.
He was driving a Blue 2003 Pontiac Vibe with New Jersey license SSP83S and was last seen wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap, a blue T-shirt, khaki shorts and black shoes.
Township police are asking anyone with information to call Detective Mike Cronin at 732-721-5600 extension 3250.
