The Raritan Valley Community College Foundation Board of Directors has announced the election of new officers. The new slate of officers includes Donna LoStocco, chair; Steven Reichman, vice-chair; and Andrew Borkin, secretary.
The Raritan Valley Community College Foundation Board of Directors has announced the election of new officers. The new slate of officers includes Donna LoStocco, chair; Steven Reichman, vice-chair; and Andrew Borkin, secretary.
LoStocco, a resident of Lebanon, is the chief member experience officer for Affinity Federal Credit Union, where she has worked since 1997. She began her career as an entrepreneur and then led sales and service organizations in the fields of executive recruitment and commercial banking.
LoStocco has served on several boards, holding such positions as chair of the Somerset County Business Partnership, chair of RideWise, and a member of the Somerset County Economic Development Task Force. She also was a member of the RVCC Presidential Search Committee. She received a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor of science in Business Administration from Thomas Edison State College.
Reichman, a resident of Somerset, is the vice president of Business Development at ADP Statewide Insurance. Previously, he served as the executive vice president of the NIA Group, LLC for 35 years. He is also the past state president of the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey. He is a member of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce and the Network of Opportunity. Reichman graduated from Alfred University with a bachelor of science in Economics.
Borkin, a resident of Flemington, is president of Strategic Advancement, a management consulting firm in Bridgewater. He has extensive experience in human resources, management, and administration for both private and public corporations, government, and consulting firms. Borkin received a bachelor of arts in History from the State University of New York at Fredonia and an Master's of Arts in Personnel Administration from the State University of New York at Albany. He served in the United States Air Force as a First Lieutenant.
In addition, John Trojan, Raritan Valley Community College vice president of Finance and Facilities, and Elisabeth McConville were re-elected treasurer and assistant treasurer, respectively.
As the fundraising arm of Raritan Valley Community College, the Foundation engages individuals, local businesses, corporations, and other foundations in philanthropic activities to help ensure the college continues to provide high quality education at an affordable cost. It also supports the college's standing as a premier academic institution and a source of culture and continuing education in Somerset and Hunterdon counties.
Raritan Valley Community College's main campus is located at 118 Lamington Road in Branchburg.
