President Donald Trump is likely to be at his Bedminster golf club this weekend, according to reports.

BEDMINSTER -- President Donald Trump will likely be at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster this week as the club hosts the 2017 U.S. Women's Open, according to reports.

The Federal Aviation Administration has posted a notice to its website warning pilots of temporary flight restrictions around the Bedminster area. The restrictions begin on Friday and run through Sunday.

Such notices are not official confirmations and they could still be changed or canceled, but they have been taken as signs over the last few weeks that the president plans to be in Bedminster, according to a report by the Palm Beach Post.

The United States Golf Association did not confirm whether Trump would attend and referred questions to the White House.

USGA will regret Open at Trump

"It's our normal practice to prepare for any VIP visitors at our championships, and we're working with local, regional and other authorities for any eventuality," USGA public relations director Janeen Driscoll said. "Right now our focus remains solely on conducting the ultimate test of golf for the best female players in the world."

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Trump is also expected to be in Paris on Friday to attend Bastille Day ceremonies.

Trump, a former Atlantic City casino magnate who still owns three private golf clubs in New Jersey, has already visited his club in Bedminster three times since taking office, using it as a weekend retreat from the White House.

The USGA's decision to host this weekend's tournament at Trump National has generated some outcry and one player has already spoken out, urging the president not to attend.

But at a U.S. Women's Open preview event in May, players involved said they did not believe that Trump would distract from the tournament.

If Trump does show up in Bedminster, it won't be the first time he's attended a golf tournament in New Jersey. Last time The Barclays were in town, back in 2015, then-candidate Trump made an appearance at Edison's Plainfield Country Club.

The U.S. Women's Open kicked off Monday morning and practice rounds will continue through Wednesday. Tournament play opens Thursday morning at 6:45 a.m. and runs through Sunday evening.
