BERNARDSVILLE -- A woman works on training a large group of dogs in this undated photo taken in Bernardsville.
A careful count shows that she is managing to keep 25 canines in line, though one in the lower right hand corner seems to be ready to make his escape.
It is possible that the photo was taken at the Essex Hunt Club. According to the Historical Society of the Somerset Hills, the Essex Hunt Club was founded in West Orange in 1872 and relocated to Bernardsville in 1892. The club averaged two hunts each week.
