Man thought his child had missed the school bus and he was driving around trying to locate the bus, police said.
WARREN -- Township police said Wednesday that a man they were searching for in connection with the reported attempted luring of a 13-year-old teen last week was trying to locate the school bus because he thought his child had missed it.
At approximately 7:35 a.m. on Feb. 4, township police received a report that the teen was approached in his driveway by a man driving a grey 4-door sedan, police said.
The man, who was with his child, was actually driving to another bus stop so his child could catch the bus and stopped to ask the teen, who was waiting for the same bus, where the bus was at that point, police said.
The teen ran inside his home and the police were called, according to reports.
Police said it has been determined that the man "intended no harm" and the investigation into the incident has been closed.
