BERNARDS TOWNSHIP -- A car carrier with more than a half dozens vehicles caught fire Sunday afternoon, closing two lanes on Interstate 287 northbound, police said.
Authorities responded to the truck fire at 4:50 p.m. near mile marker 25, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn. The truck driver was uninjured.
As of 5:15 p.m., the right and center lanes were closed, Flynn said. The lane closures were causing 20 minute delays south of exit 26, according to 511.org.
