Bridgwater Township Police issued an advisory Wednesday that Finderne Avenue is closed near Route 22 and Route 28 for a police investigation.
Finderne Avenue is closed between Route 28 and Foothill Road. BRIDGEWATER TWP. -- Police and members of the Somerset County S.W.A.T. team have closed Finderne Avenue near Route 22 and Route 28 because of suspect who has barricaded himself inside 195 Finderne Ave., according to police reports and information from the scene.
Finderne Avenue is closed between Union Avenue (Route 28) and Foothill Road, and police stated the area should be avoided.
The Nixle alert was issued at 4:27 p.m. Bridgewater Township Police had no further information as of 5 p.m.
