The school graduated 724 students.
BRIDGEWATER - Bridgewater-Raritan High School class speaker Trisha Kaundinya had a poignant message for her fellow graduates Thursday evening.
"We have to commit to the journey, not the end," she said.
Kaundinya, who is headed to Northwestern University, was among 724 graduates during a ceremony on a glorious afternoon in the school's football stadium.
"High school is a memory that is over," she said, "Once a Panther (the school's nickname), always a Panther. Our memories of who we were and who we have become are unique to each of us and our families.
"To quote Maya Angelou, 'Nobody can make it out here alone.'"
Principal Dr. Mark Morrell said the school didn't have a Salutatorian or Valedictorain.
During his address to the class of 2017, Morrell said, "Today doesn't represent an end, it's a new beginning."
